Marco Polo Ortigas Manila's award-winning all-day dining Cucina, named as one of the best restaurants in The Philippine Tatler's Best Restaurants Guide 2017, recently introduced three new signature dishes as part of their impressive buffet spread. Read on for a flavorful peek at the new signature dishes and prepare for Tasty Indulgence at Cucina...

Located high above at the 24th Level of Marco Polo Ortigas Manila, Cucina offers a versatile dining experience highlighted by its well-curated buffet spread with its always impressive variety of international cuisine. The addition of the new signature dishes adds to the overall dining experience with its fresh flavors.


At the central station, the three new dishes were featured, bannered by the new Crispy Pata stuffed with Foie Gras and topped with Pineapple Salsa, crispy pork knuckles stuffed with indulgent foie gras and served crisp potatoes with a tart pineapple salsa. Each slice of the pork knuckle features textural contrasts with juicy pork capped by a crisp outer layer of crackling made richer with the distinct and indulgent notes of foie gras. The pork and foie gras combine for a unique richness, tempered by the pineapple salsa for balanced flavors.Pork and foie gras, just can't get better than that...


The savory Braised Beef Roulade stuffed with Cream Cheese, Shrimp, Fish, and Shellfish draped in a rich sauce offers layers of bold flavors, from the tender beef to the seafood and cream cheese. The distinct notes of the beef, cream cheese, and seafood come together in a seamless blend capped by the rich and thick sauce. The innovative dish reflects Cucina's inventive culinary style, and you can always expect flavorful surprises each time you visit.  


The Surf and Turf Blanket, with premium baked Salmon and Minced Beef wrapped in a light and thin pastry topped with Sun-Dried Tomato offers vibrant flavors with the light yet rich notes of the creamy salmon contrasting with the deep flavors of the beef. Pork, beef, and seafood, the trifecta of new dishes provide new flavor experiences, and a welcome addition to Cucina's wide selection of offerings. And you can indulge in all three new signature dishes and more at Cucina...

Cucina always brings something new to the table, and the three new signature buffet dishes are part of the constantly evolving repertoire of dishes. Then, there are the curated stations offering Cucina's daily buffet spread like the Grill Station where diners can choose from Chicken to pork and fresh seafood for grilling...


That day, fresh Tilapia was also offered at the Grill Station providing diners even more choices at Cucina's buffet spread.

The always impressive fresh Seafood Station displayed the day's freshest catch on ice (L), from plump shrimps, mussels and crabs, ideal for grilling, baked with cheese, or delicately sauteed in garlic and butter (R) drizzled with lemon. Just let the station chefs know your preference and they'll take care of the rest.

At the Asian Noodles Station (L), have the chef prepare a comforting bowl of Asian-style noodles with a light broth a la minute topped with seafood or wontons, and pair it with a wide variety of freshly steamed Dim Sum (R) for a light yet satisfying starter. Each of the live stations ensure your dish is served fresh and hot.


Start your feast at Cucina with a bowl of fresh garden greens, or pick up one of the delicately prepared salads at the Salad Station...


...or go for a customized plate of freshly prepared Sushi and Sashimi...


...with their extensive selection including thick slices of imported Salmon.

At the Cheese and Cold Cuts Station (L), diners can feast on a selection of premium cold cuts, including prosciutto, salchichon, jamon serrano, and salami along with freshly baked bread. You can also find tasty sandwiches like the Country Pork Ham Sandwich and Corned Beef Sandwich (R), tasty bites before the mains...


...with a few slices of Manchego, Emmental, Gruyere, and Blue Cheese with dried fruits and nuts.

At the Carving Station, diners queued for the popular Ribeye, perfectly grilled to medium rare with a juicy pink center. You can also have the station chef grill your slices of Ribeye to your preferred doneness, served fresh from the grill to your table...

...or rustic Country Roast Chicken, and you're ready for another round at the Carving Station.

One of the highlights of dining at Cucina is their signature Paella Station, prepared fresh from scratch, simmering on low fire in a massive paellera. That day, the station chef prepared a traditional Mixed Paella with chunks of pork, shrimps, mussels and vegetables... 


...and after a few minutes on low fire, the Paella was ready to serve. Diners can enjoy their freshly made paella served in mini paelleras, and you can come back for seconds and thirds.


At the Pasta Station, diners can enjoy a traditional bowl of comforting Pesto and Carbonara, all prepared fresh and ala minute, or why not indulge in their unique pizza creations like Cucina's Sisig Pizza topped with pork on a thin and crisp crust.

At the Filipino Station, you'll find familiar staples like Pork Menudo (L), and Chicken and Pork Adobo along with iconic dishes like Beef Rendang (R), Thai Chicken Curry, and Yang Chow Fried Rice from the Asian Station. Don't forget to make a quick stop at the Indian Station for their selection of curry dishes.


Cucina's servers would also make regular rounds with tasty bites fresh from the kitchen, allowing diners a sample of their culinary creativity.

But save room for dessert. Indulge in sinfully decadent cakes and pastries to cap a sumptuous feast at Cucina's Dessert Station. From the ornate and intricate White Chocolate Almond Cake, sweet and tart Raspberry Balsamic Moussecake (L), rich Chocolate Tartlets (R), and creamy Ricotta Cheese Tartlets...
