All-Time Favorites at Outback

There's more to Outback than just great steaks...

Outback offers a variety of signature dishes other than their popular steaks, and here are some favorites...

The Typhoon Bloom (P 399), elegantly stacked hand-cut fresh onion rings dusted with Outback's very own proprietary secret seasoning, neatly layered and cooked until golden brown, served with the signature Bloom sauce is a tasty starter that's great for sharing. Crisp with just a whisper of nutty sweetness from the onions, each flavorful bite is perfectly finished by the creamy Bloom sauce (for more on Outback's other new signature dishes, check out my previous post, Ready for the Great Aussie Eats at Outback...).

The Crispy Parmesan Shrimp Salad (P 569), with garden fresh and crisp romaine heart draped with a blend of Caesar's dressing and tart balsamic vinegar reduction topped with crispy baby rock shrimps coated and glazed with Asian chili sauce, cherry tomatoes, and Parmesan, is another refreshing starter at Outback. The garden fresh greens deliver clean notes, kicked up by the crispy shrimps for textural contrasts and more flavors. If you enjoy your salad with seafood, you'll enjoy this tasty number from Outback.

Wing it with Outback's Kookaburra Wings (P 299 Half/P 499 Full), crisp chicken wings coated in a savory and flavorful blend of Outback's secret spices, served with a refreshing Bleu Cheese dressing and celery sticks. Enjoy it Mild, Medium, or Hot, your call.

The Braised Beef Risotto (P 699), a comforting bowl with fork tender slow-cooked beef on creamy Parmesan rice topped with cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and green peas, drizzled with a rich Cabernet sauce, is a sumptuous main dish that's satisfying and full of flavors. The savory notes of the beef are tempered by the tart notes of the cherry tomatoes and soft Parmesan rice, guaranteed to satisfy any hefty appetite. Next time you're at Outback, give a second look at the non-steak items on the menu, and discover new favorites.
